Hamish Macleod Hamish joined Howie’s in 1993 as General Manager and was appointed to the Board in 2002 as Joint Managing Director. Prior to Howie’s, he worked for a Swedish owned forest products company after graduating from Strathclyde University with a BSc in Technology and Business Studies. Hamish has travelled overseas extensively in his career as he has directed the Company’s investment in the finest technology available to develop our reputation as a leader in quality products and customer service. He has been active in pursuing forest industry interests, having held a number of positions in trade associations including a past President of UKFPA . Hamish was appointed in April 2009 to serve as a non-exec Forestry Commissioner on the GB Board of Forestry Commission and on the National Committee for Scotland. 01556 610876 |
