Packaging and Pallet-Making Material
Howie Forest Products has established an excellent reputation in the Packaging and Pallet-Making trade for supplying consistent quality dimensional material to our clients. We are able to handle complex orders for large volumes and many different sizes for both one-off orders and regular weekly or monthly orders. Our stock is turned around very quickly so the material our clients receive is clean and bright in appearance. Our standard products we offer include:
KD (Kiln Dried) Heat Treatment (HT)
Howie Forest Products are accredited to produce and distribute wood identified as HT56/30 on the pack label; which means the material has been in heat-treatment chamber/kiln for at least thirty minutes at a minimum of 56 Degrees Celcius. As part of our regular kiln cycle, any material which has been through this process meets the minimum requirements as specified in the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 15 we are therefore able to label our packs accordingly. Click here to see a copy of our certificate. We are able to supply any of the below products to you bearing the ISPN 15 mark should you so require.

We produce ungraded boards in the following four thicknesses thicknesses specifically for the pallet/packing sector:

25mm
Widths are from 75mm to 150mm and in lengths from 0.660m to 4.8m in increments of 1mm. If you have specific board requirements for a size not listed hear please contact us.

Packing Grade HT 56/30
